Bulk update SEO titles and SEO descriptions for Shopify blog posts

SEO titles and SEO descriptions (meta descriptions) are what Google often uses to understand and display your blog posts in search results. Keeping them consistent, accurate, and keyword-focused improves both rankings and click-through rates.

Create a blog posts worksheet

Start by setting up a workbook in Mixtable and creating a worksheet that syncs with your Blog Post data from Shopify. Once the worksheet loads, your existing blog posts will appear in rows, with one row per post.

To add the SEO fields:

1. Open your Blog Posts worksheet
2. To load new Shopify data, start by selecting an empty column — any column with a non-green header (green headers mean the column is already linked to Shopify data). Then, click the ⚡️ button in the column header to open the selection window to choose the data you want to pull in.
3. Choose one of the following fields:

• SEO Title
• SEO Description

As soon as you add a field, Mixtable populates the column with your existing SEO data from Shopify. These cells are now fully editable.
