A Mixtable workbook is designed to look and feel like an Excel workbook. This means that when we export data we do something more advanced than simply convert a CSV into an XLSX file. Any formatting that you have in your workbook will be included in your XLSX file. Cell background colours and column widths, for example. So, once you set up your workbook you'll likely only ever need to come in an press the export button. Everything will be set up as you want it. Add in the fact that Mixtable will update your workbook behind the scenes as data is created/updated in Shopify - you won't need to wait for data to sync. Just open the workbook and press the export button.
Exporting to CSV from Mixtable is trivial. Just set up your workbook how you want it, with the data you want, and click the Export to CSV button. Mixtable will always keep your data fresh with changes in Shopify. So no waiting - open the workbook and start exporting. Only one caveat - CSV files don't have tabs. So when you export to CSV you export the currently selected worksheet only.
