How do I export products from Shopify to Excel?

Install Mixtable Explore & Export from the Shopify App Store and open a products spreadsheet. Your catalog loads into a live spreadsheet where you choose the columns and their order, then export the sheet as a real .xlsx file or a CSV.

Can I export Shopify orders, collections, and metafields, not just products?

Yes. Every Shopify object you can load into a spreadsheet can be exported: products, variants, collections, media images, inventory, orders, line items, fulfillments, returns, refunds, order transactions, payouts, balance transactions, discounts, customers, B2B companies, markets, pages, blogs, and metaobjects, along with metafields, order custom attributes, line item properties, market and B2B prices, and translations.

Can I export Shopify order custom attributes and line item properties?

Yes. Add an Additional Order Detail column for information saved on the whole order, or a Line Item Custom Property column for information saved on an individual item, such as engraving text, a monogram, or a gift wrap choice. Those columns are included when you export to Excel or CSV.

Is there a row limit on Shopify exports?

No. Explore & Export has no row limits and no export caps. Shopify's own admin export emails you a CSV once your catalog is large enough, while Mixtable builds the spreadsheet in the browser and lets you download it directly.

Does exporting Shopify data to Excel cost anything?

No. Mixtable Explore & Export is free forever and does not ask for a credit card. Paid export apps typically charge between $15 and $200 per month for the same data.

Do I get a real Excel file or a CSV with an .xlsx extension?

A real .xlsx workbook. Column widths, cell colors, frozen rows, and number formats all survive the export, so the file opens in Excel looking the way you built it.

Can I export Shopify data to Google Sheets?

Yes. Export the spreadsheet as .xlsx or CSV and open it in Google Sheets, or copy straight from the Mixtable grid and paste into a sheet. Formatting and column order carry across either way.

Do I have to rebuild the export every time?

No. The columns, order, and formatting you set up once are saved with the spreadsheet, so next month you open the same sheet and export it again. Most data refreshes on its own, and a few types such as pages, blog posts, and market prices are refreshed with a manual download.
