Getting started

Install the Mixtable Spreadsheet Editor from the Shopify App Store. Add your languages in Shopify settings first.
Use the Translations template, or add translation columns to a product, collection, or content worksheet.
Filter to missing translations and paste or fill translated content across rows.
Check each pending translation by field and language in the sync preview.
Push your reviewed translations to your store when you are ready.

Any language your store has configured in Shopify under Settings and Languages. Unpublished languages can receive translations, but customers only see them once the language is published in Shopify.
Translation columns cover product titles, descriptions, handles, types, SEO fields, and option names, variant option values, collections, pages, blogs, blog posts, product image alt text, and single-line and multi-line text metafields. Translation support is scoped to these columns and objects, and metaobject translations are not written to Shopify.
No. Mixtable is for editing and managing translations in bulk, not machine translation. You bring translated text from a translator, agency, or AI tool, paste it into the sheet, review it beside the source content, and sync it to Shopify.
Yes. Add the translation columns you need and download the current values from Shopify. You can also export to Excel XLSX or CSV to hand to a translator, then paste the finished translations back in and sync.
Shopify does not notify Mixtable when translations change in the admin or another app, so your worksheet could go stale. The Download button pulls the current values on demand, and you can reload languages when your store's locales change.
