What you can do
Mixtable brings your CSV into a spreadsheet that stays connected to your store. Your file updates the worksheet first, you check the result, and nothing reaches Shopify until you run Sync to Shopify.
Drop in any CSV with column names in the first row, then map each CSV column to a Shopify field. No fixed template or exact column names required.
Pick one or more key fields, like SKU, handle, Shopify ID, or option values, and Mixtable lines up each CSV row with the right Shopify record.
Update matching rows only, update existing rows and add new ones, or add new rows only. You choose how careful or complete the import should be.
Before anything is applied, Mixtable shows the affected rows and individual cell updates, and warns you when a key matches more than one row.
Bring in products, variants, customers, inventory quantities, prices, tags, and metafields, whatever the worksheet you import into supports.
Price lists, stock updates, and catalog files from suppliers or your ERP rarely match Shopify's format. With Mixtable they do not have to.

Install the Mixtable Spreadsheet Editor from the Shopify App Store and open a spreadsheet for the data you are importing.
Open Import & Export > Import CSV file and drop in your file. Its first row should hold the column names.
