Export Shopify refunds data

If you’re using Shopify to manage your online store, you might need to analyze or report on your refunds at times. Mixtable, a potent spreadsheet tool integrated with Shopify, can be your ideal solution. As you can export Shopify order data using Mixtable, you can also effortlessly export Shopify refund information. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

Step 1: Set up Mixtable

Before exporting refunds data, ensure you have a Mixtable account and have it integrated with your Shopify store. If you haven’t set this up, refer to this article to guide you through setting up Mixtable and connecting it with Shopify.

Step 2: Load up your refunds data

Now, set up a worksheet that syncs data to your Shopify refunds. As you add columns for the data you want Mixtable will automatically populate them with any existing data. When this population is done, which should take a minute if you have a lot of data, you can trigger the export. Keep in mind that data in your Mixtable refunds worksheets will keep itself up-to-date as changes are made in Shopify. So, if you want to export the same refunds data in the future, with the latest data, you can skip straight to the export step.

Step 3: Trigger the export to CSV or Excel (XLSX)

Click on the Export option in the toolbar that’s on top of your screen. You are now presented with two options. If you want to export to a CSV file, then select the CSV export option. If you want to export to an Excel file, then select the Excel file export option. Selecting either one of these menu options will then open up the save file dialog of your browser asking you for a location where to store the exported file.
