Configure Shopify worksheet sync filter

There are times when you don’t want all your Shopify data to be loaded in a worksheet. For example, you might want to load only products with specific names, or products from a specific vendor, or products that have a specific tag, or orders after a specific date. Mixtable allows you to do this by adding a Sync Filter to your Shopify-linked worksheet. If a worksheet has a Sync Filter set up, then Mixtable will only load data that matches the criteria you’ve set out in the filter. Also, if a new object is added in Shopify (e.g., a new product), then that object will only load in the worksheet if it matches the Sync Filter criteria.

To create a worksheet with a Sync Filter follow these steps:

  1. Click the + button in the workbook tab strip to add a new worksheet
  2. Select the data you’d like to load in your worksheet. E.g., Products
  3. You’ll now be prompted to choose whether you want all data to be loaded in the worksheet, or only the objects that match certain filter criteria. Select the second option.
  4. You’ll now see an interface that allows you to Add a filter condition. You’ll be able to pick from the fields your data has, and to set up filtering conditions for each such field. For example, to load only products that have “aliexpress” as the vendor and whose tags include “best-seller”. You can set up more than one filtering condition, and selecting whether the filter matches when all conditions are met (an AND condition), or whether only one of the conditions is met (an OR condition).
