Shopify Product Change History

Mixtable records saved changes to Shopify-linked worksheet cells. This lets you review how a product field or an entire product row changed over time and identify the user or system that made each saved change.

• Change history for a specific field - This view shows you the changes to a specific product field over time (e.g., price and product name). This is accomplished via the View Cell History feature.
• Change history for the entire product - This view shows you the changes to all product fields that you have mapped into your product worksheet. This is accomplished via the View Row History feature.

View Product changes via Row History

Row History shows saved changes across all mapped cells in one worksheet row. Changes are grouped by date and time. Each entry identifies the editor, the column that changed, and the new value. A cleared value is shown as blank.

Step 1: Sync Shopify products to Mixtable spreadsheet editor

Once you install and open the Mixtable spreadsheet (spreadsheet), you can add a new Worksheet that is integrated with your Shopify product data.

In an existing Mixtable spreadsheet, click the (+) button to add a new worksheet.

Step 2: View Product Change History

Find the row containing the product you want to review. Right-click its row header and select View Row History. The Row history panel opens and lists the saved changes from newest to oldest.

If the row has no saved changes, Mixtable displays This row has not been modified instead of an empty panel.

View Product field changes via Cell History

Cell History shows saved changes to one specific worksheet cell. Use it when you only need the history of one product field, such as its price, status, or tags.

To access a cell’s history, simply right-click on the cell and select the View Cell History menu option. A visual panel will open on the right of your screen, showing you all the changes to the cell over time.
