Edit Shopify product descriptions with rich text editor

Shopify stores product descriptions in HTML format. This allows you to have text that is bold, italic, of different sizes, and more in your descriptions. You can edit the HTML of your descriptions directly by mapping your product descriptions to a column in your worksheet. But if you are not an HTML wizard you can use the rich text editor built into Mixtable’s sidebar to add formatting to your descriptions.

All you need to use the rich text editor is to have a worksheet that displays product only, or product with variant information. Select the row whose product you’d like to edit, and open the Mixtable sidebar. This will populate the sidebar with the information of the product whose row you’ve selected. You’ll see the rich text entry box, along with buttons for the various formatting options you can use.
